Tibetans residing in the New York and New Jersey area extended a warm welcome to Narendra Modi, Indian Prime Minister during his visit to the Madison Square Garden, New York to address an audience of about 20,000 on September 28, 2014.

The Indian Prime Minister was welcomed by the Tibetans with a traditional Yak dance, Modi banners, and national flags of Tibet and India.
