Tsering Dorjee Bawa, Actor

After studying for 20 years at the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts in Dharamsala, India, Tsering Dorjee started acting for the big screen as well as theatres. He has performed in feature films, including the Oscar nominated Himalaya, and other independent films such as We’re No Monks , Valley of Flowers, and Dreaming Lhasa. Tsering Dorjee talks to VOA about his work in films and theatres from the San Francisco Bay Area where he is currently settled with his family.
